Israeli Foreign Minister Katz said on Friday that if Tehran attacks its country, its allies would attack Iran.

“If Iran attacks, we expect our allies to join Israel not only in defense but also in attacking Iran's key targets,” Foreign Minister Katz said during talks with French Foreign Minister Stephane Sejourne and British Foreign Minister David Lamy.

Iran is threatening to attack Israel in retaliation for acts of provocation, such as the murder of Hamas leader Ismail Haniya in Tehran last month. According to media reports, Iranian sources claim that Tehran will only attack if cease-fire negotiations in Gaza fail. Meanwhile, the White House pointed out intelligence agencies' views which suggest Iran has not lost its stance of threatening to attack Israel.
