It's good not to allocate too many resources to point activities, not just investments.

Are you all involved in point activities?
I thoroughly reviewed and organized my finances in 2023, and also incorporated point activities.
I utilize Hapitas, review credit cards.
Until then, I only did things like consolidating payments onto one credit card as much as possible.
It was with the JCB Card W.
I also used QUICPay linked to my card for everyday purchases like automatic withdrawals.
I think I used the accumulated points on Amazon.
Due to the major review in 2023, I decided to enter the "V-Point Economic Zone".
As a result, I mainly have the Mitsui Sumitomo Mastercard, Mitsui Sumitomo VISA, Mitsui Sumitomo Olive, JQ Card Epos, and Amazon Prime Mastercard.
The Mitsui Sumitomo and Epos cards are Gold (NL).
These four cards have a "10,000 points back for every 1 million yen spent" policy, so I switch to the main card when I reach 1 million yen.
The Amazon Prime Mastercard is specialized for shopping on Amazon.
Switching the main card is a bit of a hassle, but it's not that difficult.
This is the end of the story about "point activities that accumulate with credit card usage", and it has been quite optimized.
Just with this, I think it's about 0.2 million yen per year.
Another thing that easily comes to mind when you hear "point activities" is the use of point sites, right?
As for this, I've tried various things on Hapitas, but I don't do things like answering surveys, installing game apps, and completing quests because the cost-effectiveness is not good.
It's a stance of "using it if it's something necessary as an opportunity".
Finally, various campaigns.
These are the ones that I occasionally do with credit cards, PayPay, d points, etc.
This is still not optimized, and I feel like I'm using a bit too many resources.
I get campaign information from a few people who summarize it on YouTube.
I intend to determine whether to prioritize cost performance and enter or not, but sometimes I think 'I'm glad I didn't do this.'
To optimize a bit more, it is necessary to suppress the desire of 'not wanting to miss out on a bargain.'
For example, when considering the hassle of launching an app that is not usually used for a few points every time you shop, whether to do it for getting 100 points per month, and so on.
There is no choice but to optimize while doing it.
Let's be careful not to be swayed by point activities while building mechanisms, trial and error.
