It's not a buying opportunity yet.
Yesterday's decline finally saw the MACD begin to form a dead cross at the daily level, indicating that there still seems to be further downside. With the NAAIM index at 81.34 as of last Friday, institutional selling after Labor Day is expected to continue. The Fear & Greed Index is currently at 54, indicating the downturn is not sufficient. With the upcoming blackout period from mid-September to late October, during which major US companies are restricted in their share buybacks, it is expected that this period will be particularly resistant to further increases and will be a challenging period for declines. In other words, it is expected that this period will be a buying opportunity. The current slight rebound in after-hours trading is likely a short-term reaction as the 4-hour RSI has dropped below 20, so I personally do not recommend entering a long position at this time.

J_M_RIN : What is that, in the NAAIM index, institutions are optimistic, so I understand that there is still room for decline, but I feel that there is a high possibility that the economic recession will not come in terms of data so far, or there is still a high possibility that it is still ahead, and if concerns about the economic recession go away, I have doubts about whether the NAAIM index will still make waves as before
I'm also considering the possibility that NAAIM figures will remain high for a long period of time when there is no reason why institutions seem to be bullish, and I feel that I am watching small movements every day when individuals have sold out quite a bit from the end of July until now, so if I were an institution, I have the idea that the economic recession will still be raised while exuding a sense of the future... after that, I place importance on the bullish signal for the market price that was lit up in August
pollinosis OP J_M_RIN : If the NAAIM index continues to remain high, I would be surprised.I am generally bearish in September, as I focus on past data. However, I believe that the stock market will continue to rise from November to January. I think that a small interest rate cut in a strong economy will be a great boost to the stock market!
