74216494 Dragon Fish OP : Obviously, you have no clue, how serious shorting works. Because SHORTs have much higher, theoretically unlimited risk, opposed to LONGS, only losing their investment, in worst case, SHORTs have to do much deeper research of the stock. Or, in other words, SHORTs have to be much smarter than the LONGS. (BTW: Thats the reason, SHORTs made a bundle with NIO.) This also means, serious (high volume) SHORTies always limit their risk using CALLs. Against sudden increase in PPS. Thus, no such thing like short squeeze for serious SHORTs. And they also cover using CALLS, not to inflate PPS in case of direct buys. Another lesson, free of charge.
