Jien Technology $JHM (0127.MY)$ Through its subsidiary, Jien Technology has been awarded a contract for supplying vehicle parts to Bao Teng, with an estimated value of around 0.3 billion Ringgit.
Jien Technology reported to the Malaysian Stock Exchange today that through its 52% ownership in JHM Dekai Car Lights Private Limited Company, it has secured the aforementioned contract to provide parts for Bao Teng's specific vehicle models for a period of 5 years.
Although the press release did not mention the value of the contract, Jien Technology estimates that the value generated over the 5-year period will be around 0.3 billion Ringgit.
According to the press release, this supply contract will be implemented in the third quarter of the 2025 fiscal year and will boost the company's profitability in the next 5 years.
Believed to be driven by this bullish news, the stock price of Techtron Technology has already risen by 11.1% or 4.5 cents at noon, reaching the 45 cents level.
