The Clean Hydrogen Production Tax Credit is granted in the range of $0.6 to $3 per kilogram of hydrogen produced, based on the lifecycle emissions of greenhouse gases (GHG) during hydrogen production. The tax credit is available for 10 years from the day the hydrogen production facility starts operating for projects that commence construction by 2033.
I'm not the only one who thinks that when institutions and individual investors see the confirmed 45V tax credits and DOE loans mentioned in this article, and the financial situation improves, their perspectives will change significantly.
