July P/L Challenge: between panic and Zen

I started my investing journey on 9 June with no prior experience. So it has been almost 2 months now. And I suppose 2 months of trial and error served as a good learning. I stuffed all kinds of stocks in my portfolio from MY and US, from all kinds of industries, and even some risky tech stocks and SPACs. Needless to say, I did not have a refined strategy or a good grasp of how things work. So, these were my results:

Close to 2 months of arduous daily playing around the app and paying more attention to information around me. I think I have figured out how I want to roll going forward.

1) Focus on high-dividend, low PE and undervalued counters with good macro economy prospects.

2) Replan the portfolio with the right stocks (get rid of the junks) and wait for the right price to sell.

3) Participate in the community to learn and grow together.

4) Be flexible between short, medium and long term active trading to first maximize my portfolio size, before stepping back to a more passive investment style.

I am aiming for a minimum 10% return by June 2025.
