Thank you for launching on the 26th. The reason for this is not clear, but $Exxon Mobil (XOM.US)$ it was a surge moment when news broke that is investing 10 billion dollars in Nigeria, so I suspect this might be the reason. If this is the reason for the surge, there may be a correction next week, but since the bottom is rising, no worries.
Economic news reported locally in Africa does not easily come across without checking local sites. It's not even flowing in international news. Since I started buying Jumia, I've been watching only African news recently. Because of that, I knew about Sanada Hiroyuki's Emmy Award win only from a Nigerian news site the other day.
I check Shohei Ohtani's performance daily on Japanese sites, at least.
