Just like most all of the other mega caps / major indices, MSFT looks like it could take a huge fall in the near. Very nice Head & Shoulder Top pattern in process. A target of $375 shouldn’t be crazy
$Microsoft (MSFT.US)$ No position here yet, just keeping a close eye on it to see how it plays out. I likely would plan to enter at 405 ifthe downward mometum is strong and would plan on adding to position when at or breaking 400. One thing that is important to mention, there is nothing more BULLISH than a failed bearish pattern. In the scenario above, of such bearish pattern does not follow through then yea……BULLISH as can be.
If playing options, remember the most important factor is to give your contracts enough time for your strategy to complete. Rule of thumb, always buy more time than you think it will take to play out. Yes of course the profits will not be as sharp, but this is the only way to consistently trade options profitably.
When trading options, you should never be trying to hit a “moon shot,” simply take green when you have it and COMPOUND the profits. Nothing wrong with taking 25-30% gains on options positions, in fact at this point in time, that’s probably the average % gain I consistently take with my options positions.
Always create a plan and execute. Plan your entry, your exit, where you might want to add, etc. Only way to survive and be profitable.
