$Kandi Technolgies (KNDI.US)$ this needs volume it needs a half a million shares to a million shares and I have no idea what the hell is going to jump start this stock. I really thought that the commercials on CNBC that are running right now.. looks like about six times a day would have lit a fire under this stock

  • MonkeyGee : it's not just volume.   you need a big boy to run the pump and dump.

  • 10baggerbamm OP MonkeyGee : it's it's really not a pump and dump because this company actually has profits you know unlike the shit that you see every morning that's up 150,200% on a news announcement this company has more cash in the bank than the entire value of the publicly traded company by 50% more so literally you could buy all the stock right here shut the company down liquidate the cash from the bank and make 50% on your money. that's fucking crazy,  it doesn't exist any other place on planet Earth. this is not like when someone says well it trades under book value and they go how do you calculate that well if you would a liquidate all of the equipment that they have in inventory. and that's bullshit because if you get to that point you get about 10 cents on the dollar at a bankruptcy sale. so this is cash in the bank is 50% more than the market cap of the company.

  • MonkeyGee 10baggerbamm OP : I agree with you 101%.  but just like GRAB.  The company is worth 10x liquidated, but the price hasn't moved for almost 3 years.  only 19m shares traded today with 1B plus float.  GRAB will only move if a big boy is standing behind it and push.

  • 10baggerbamm OP MonkeyGee : grab does not have cash of one and a half times the market cap of the company in the bank account

  • MonkeyGee 10baggerbamm OP : Grab has almost zero debt, multi billions in revenue,  almost positive cashflow and EPS.

  • 10baggerbamm OP MonkeyGee : their margins are razor thin so billions and billions in cash flow making a fraction of 1% is not impressive you understand that. it's like a grocery store they may have 5,000 customers a week you add up their sales they may do 20 million revenue a month and they make $400,000 because they're running in about a 2% margin.. so the total revenues are really irrelevant.

  • MonkeyGee 10baggerbamm OP : you are right about that.  the revenue per customer looks so weird to me.   now it makes sense.   How do you have 40M customers and make only about 16.60 bucks a customer.

  • 10baggerbamm OP MonkeyGee : it's how they recognize revenue and I'll give you for example. so I owned a very large mortgage company. if I were to take top line and say we were closing a thousand loans a month and the average loan is $250,000 and multiply that out and then annualize it. and say this is the total amount of revenue we're doing in the form of sales. that would be the same as a food delivery service that is actually not selling the food that the restaurants selling but delivering it but they book that actual cash register receipt from the restaurant and they run it through their books and they say yeah this is the total revenue we're doing. and that's not exactly right. you see our revenues were not the loan size our revenues were the fees generated mortgage origination fee processing fee and add it up.
so what this food delivery service is doing is actually booking the revenues of the restaurants and saying look this is what we're delivering this is our top line and it really is not they're making that tiny little spread of fees that they charge the restaurant for the delivery service and they charge the customer for the delivery. so if they were to do it this way the right way that top line billion dollar number is going to come down like 98%. does this make sense to you?

  • MonkeyGee 10baggerbamm OP : That makes the numbers even worse.  if that is the case, 40M customers make 33 cents off each customer per quarter.    Thank you for explaining.   I knew something was not right but couldn't decipher it.  [undefined]

  • 10baggerbamm OP MonkeyGee : you're welcome sometimes you have to take a step back and look at things and realize exactly what is going on and what's not happening. you know the first flag for example and you see this shit on TV when these no name companies are advertising is they say and ABC company is competing in an industry that's valued at $200 billion dollars and they're rapidly growing taking market share away. when you hear that it means that company's doing shit and you don't even want to go near it it's kind of a flag. this is not the only company the one that you're involved with that books the revenues this way there's other companies also that do it and on the surface it looks great but once you begin to understand how the categorize revenues you realize it's razor thin.
