Kenanga IB Outperform and Underperform Calls, are they on the ball or missed the mark?
Thanks to a Mooer comment on $TGUAN (7034.MY)$, i decided to look at recent Kenanga IB calls (research), and reviewed 8 stocks covered by Kenanga Research between Dec 2023 and May 2024. The results were mixed, with half of the stocks hitting their target, while 2 calls saw the Market totally disagree and the stocks price defied the laws of gravity.
Some suggestion i have if you rely on Research reports, are
1. To start tracking the analyst making those calls, and monitor their “win” rate. That will give some additional comfort when you make your decisions.
2. Continuously monitor and be aware of market conditions, as the research report is Point In Time.
3. Finally, use technical analysis to help you in your entry or exits. All the best.
