Scrooge_McDuck : Think you mean weighted average cost of $6. While DCA can be applied to individual stocks, it’s often more commonly associated with investment in mutual funds, index funds or ETFs.

Scrooge_McDuck Dyna67 OP : DCA is NOT the same as the strategy of buying more shares of a stock when the price drops. Think “averaging down” is what you mean.
