KO invests 1.1 billion dollars in MSFT AI utilization, transitioning to valuable AI strategies

$Coca-Cola (KO.US)$ xperi recently announced $Microsoft (MSFT.US)$ for the purpose of leveraging cloud computing and artificial intelligence (AI) services, a 5-year partnership with Microsofthas been announced.
The Coca-Cola Company has committed $1.1 billion to this partnership, enabling access to Microsoft Cloud and its advanced AI capabilities.
"Through a long-term partnership, we have made significant progress in accelerating the overall AI transformation across the entire system of independent bottlers worldwide in conjunction with The Coca-Cola Company," said Judson Althoff, Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer at Microsoft. "Continuing to embrace the era of AI and focusing on solutions such as Azure OpenAI Service and Copilot for Microsoft 365 to drive innovation in all areas of business, we are proud to support Coca-Cola."
It had been proven that integrating AI into marketing campaigns had brought great success to Coca-Cola.
Previously, the company launched the 'Create Real Magic' campaign, challenging creators to create new ads by combining GPT-4 and DALL-E. This campaign, which provided the opportunity to be recognized on billboards in New York, received over 120,000 submissions from artists in 17 countries and generated 0.3 billion impressions on social media.
Coca-Cola introduced the musical instrument app 'Coke SoundZ' that offers the uplifting sound of zero-sugar soda through AI-driven marketing strategies.
"From the sound of fizz to the clink of ice, all kinds of noises create anticipation and trigger the release of dopamine in the brain," Mr. Lewis stated in the cola's press release. "We incorporated this science into AI to aim at providing uplifting and fun sounds."
By harnessing the latest advances in AI technology, Coca-Cola aims not only to evoke sensory pleasure but also to create emotional connections with viewers.
"Coke SoundZ is a perfect example that demonstrates how people can leverage AI to create enhanced and personalized fan experiences," stated Pratik Thakar, Vice President and Chief Global AI Officer at Coke. "Coca-Cola Zero Sugar provided us with the blueprint of music. We then discovered a technology to capture unique sounds of 'fizz' and 'clink,' creating a completely unique harmony aimed at invoking joy with every note."
The Coke SoundZ app is available for free download from the App Store or Google Play.
Coca-Cola is positioned to further revolutionize the beverage industry with innovative AI-driven solutions by expanding its existing 0.25 billion-dollar partnership with Microsoft.
