— Core CPI for August rose 0.3% from the previous month — market forecast rose 0.2%
— Housing costs have risen sharply since January, leading to overall increases in airfares and clothing

− (Exchange) The yen depreciated from the 141.7 yen level before the index was announced to the 142.1 yen level. The yen depreciated to the 142.9 yen level the next day
There are also reports that the US government is considering allowing NVIDIA to export advanced chips to Saudi Arabia, and NVIDIA rose 8%. High-tech stocks are mainly bought. Other consumer goods sectors rose 1.3%

The CPI is expected to be +0.1% and the core CPI is +0.2% for September. If it exceeds expectations, bond interest rates are expected to rise further (and in turn, depreciate yen). On the other hand, there is an opinion that the impact of CPI on the stock market is declining.
