Late but I’m here.
Hi everyone, this is travis. Welcome to my money master showdown’s journey. I have been busy the past few days and now I finally have the mental capacity to be able to share about my investment journey and experince. I hope that I can share about what I have learnt with the time i have had in the market.
To be able to let you understand who I am today, you have to know where it all began.
I was an engineering student in eletrical engineering back in polytechnic. I was in my final year and i realised that i didnt want to be an engineer.
When i went to army, I was introduced to trading and I started to learn all about finance. Learning about money got me excited, so I chose to pursue a finance degree!
During my university days, I began to learn about investing and trading that was not taught in school too. I also started to paper trade and traded with my own money. I have this belief that if you want to be successful, you should always learn from the successful and experienced masters in that particular sector, so I started to learn from renowned investors and traders like peter lynch, richard wyckoff, jesse livermore and warren buffet. I started to learn trading on higher time frames to lower time frames. By that i mean i learnt about investing for the long term, to swing trading then to day trading and some scalping. That was when I found out where my strength was at.
After I graduated, the first stint of my career was in a single family office as an investment analyst. I was managing money for cryptocurrency positions in our firm using mainly technical analysis. I will be sharing tomorrow why this was also my first big breakthrough!
