I am more inclined to be a left side trader. Being a left side trader means you are both an investor and a trader. You see the long term potential of the company.
Take an example Amazon. $Amazon (AMZN.US)$. Amazon is part of the Mag 7 and it is going to disrupt the way we shop in the future.
When I heard no news except for Macro news about Amazon tanking, it is most likely profit taking. ![]()

The moment there is news about reversal. It's time to let go, Sell at 186!
