Let’s review what happened
$Trump Media & Technology (DJT.US)$ DJT just shot up +16% in the span of 30 mins. Why is that?
Is DJT getting a buyout? Has Truth Social released incredible user growth? No.
The only thing that triggered the buying frenzy is that DJT is in talks to buy $Bakkt Holdings (BKKT.US)$ , a crypto trading platform. It’s not even that DJT made any confirmation of the acquisition, but rather, all we got is news of “talks”, which means that the acquisition might not even happen.
In my opinion, DJT is doing everything in its power to maintain its overinflated prices by driving speculative hype. Trade/invest this at your own risk.
