Li Auto sees 100,000th Li L6 roll off line

Li Auto saw the 100,000th production car of the Li L6 roll off the line, about five months after the model's official launch.
The new energy vehicle (NEV) maker announced the milestone on Weibo, after delivering more than 20,000 units of the model in three consecutive months.
Li Auto launched the Li L6 on Apr 18, its new extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) model, in an attempt to reach a broader customer base at a lower price point.
The five-seat SUV (sport utility vehicle) is available in Pro and Max trims, and is currently priced from RMB 249,800 (USD35,150) and RMB 279,800, respectively.
The Li L6 is the least expensive Li Auto model, below the Li L7's current starting price of RMB 301,800.
Other Li Auto models include the more expensive Li L8, Li L9, and the Li Mega MPV (multi-purpose vehicle).
The Li L8 and Li L9 are SUVs with extended-range powertrain, and the Li Mega is Li Auto's first battery electric vehicle (BEV).
Deliveries of the Li L6 began at the end of Apr and have replaced the Li L7 as Li Auto's main selling model after steady deliveries.
Li L6 monthly deliveries have exceeded 20,000 units in the past three months, while Li L7 monthly deliveries have been just over 10,000 units in the same period, according to data compiled by CnEVPost.
The Li L8 has had monthly deliveries of 5,000-6,000 units over the past three months, the Li L9 was at around 7,000 units, and the Li Mega was at less than 1,000 units.
In Aug, Li Auto delivered 48,122 vehicles, down 5.64% from 51,000 in Jul but up 37.83% from 34,914 a year ago.
The Li L6 delivered 24,897 units in Aug, contributing 51.74% of Li Auto monthly deliveries, according to data compiled by CnEVPost.
