Li Wen once talked about the unfair treatment of the producer of “The Voice of China” and the sharp drop in stock prices

Shares of the producer of the program “The Voice of China” recorded the biggest drop on record. Previously, recordings of the late star Li Wen suspected of being treated unfairly on the program were revealed online.
According to Bloomberg, $STAR CM(06698.HK)$The stock price plummeted 23%, the biggest drop since listing in December last year, and the market value evaporated by about 1.5 billion US dollars.
A 9-minute recording went viral on the Chinese social media platform Weibo. Hong Kong singer Li Wen, who once worked as a mentor for the “The Voice of China” program, recounted her experiences on the program.
At the beginning of July this year, Lee Min, who had been suffering from depression for several years, committed suicide.
The “Voice of China” program team posted a statement on Weibo saying that some self-media accounts spread the maliciously edited recording “Voice of China 2022” on online platforms, which had been maliciously edited, disrespected the deceased and seriously damaged the image of the program.
Bloomberg News's call to Starry Sky in Chinese was not answered.
