Musk's $56B pay package vote approved: Can it drive TSLA further?

Longtime Tesla Holder Baillie Gifford (and me) Backs the $56 Billion Musk Pay

$Tesla(TSLA.US)$ $BYD COMPANY(01211.HK)$ $NIO Inc(NIO.US)$ $XPeng(XPEV.US)$ The article reported that one of Tesla Inc.’s longest-standing holders, Scottish asset manager Baillie Gifford, will vote in favor of Elon Musk’s $56 billion pay package, according to a person familiar with the matter.
Baillie Gifford has held the stock for more than a decade and now still holds about 0.5% of the company across several of its funds. The asset manager’s largest fund, the Scottish Mortgage Investment Trust, said in May it would support the package.
My Take: Don't be distracted by comments made by anti-Tesla about the voting of Tesla Shareholders Meeting proposals. They are using all tactics to spread FUD to influence you negatively. Most Tesla (and EM) haters don't hold shares at all and are powerless when shareholders vote FOR ratifying EM's 2018 pay package and moving the company headquarter from Delaware to Texas.
Tomorrow (12 June 2024) is the last day to vote. I have cast my vote through Moomoo to back the proposals #3 and #4. See screenshots below. If you have not, read here: How to cast a vote as Tesla Shareholders if you own stocks in Moomoo

  • Money maker bro : This is equivalent to Tesla losing 56 billion yuan

  • ZnWCOP Money maker bro: Someone commented that the $56 billion pay package would "dilute" the stock causing the share price to fall. Tesla board has refuted the claim saying that EM's compensation package is paid in terms of options and stocks and he needs to hold them for 5 years - allows to sell stock to pay taxes.

"The deal allows me to sell enough stock to pay the taxes. The remaining stock must be held for 5 years, so it is impossible for me to cash out and run." - Elon Musk

  • ZnWCOP Money maker bro: You posted many negative bias comments about Tesla trying to spread FUD. Your trading badge showed that you have not traded any stocks in Moomoo. Do some training or else no one will believe what you say.

I reflected trading experiences by writing journals. My comments are for educational purposes not financial advice.
