  • Losing Screw : Not all true. Customer service does not know how does this MMF works. The fund mainly park their money in high interest fund. You will only lose your principal if the MMF went MIA, or the fund park your money at lehman brothers etc, which hardly happen.

People are complaining losing principal because of NAV adjustment after dividend distribution every end of month. The dividend paid does not reflect in the fund but go to univeral account cash fund instead.

  • 103271649 OP Losing Screw : But now what happened to me is my universal account cash fund (which I assume that in my principal fund) is lesser than my initial fund that I used to subscribe to. I can accept there is no return, but I don't understand why it hurts my principal fund.

Since the reason I am investing in MMF is to secure my funds. Dividend is only a plus bonus, which I can accept with zero dividend in case of not perform.

  • Losing Screw 103271649 OP : Go to account > all > fund details. You may find the dividend there.
