$Lucid Group (LCID.US)$ why people expect this company to reach to the moon quickly. it took Tesla a decade to become profitable. lucid started late, but their trajectory is higher than Tesla compared to its early days. This is Saudi Arabia’s only EV play where they heavily invested. It is not going anywhere. Relax. Go long LCID.

Wilee_One : The bigger issue is going to be the market. It took Tesla forever to get to profitability, but there was a great demand for the EV product. Tesla could charge more because there was little competition. The ground has changed. Demand has dropped, cold weather effect on batteries has consumers spooked, government subsidies are waning, and the market is saturated with cheap choices, including hybrids. Lucid will be OK as long as their Saudi financier is engaged. If not, this could be an Edsel.
