People who understand technology or come from a technology background will buy this stock, while those who only look at the financial statements may not. For a company like this at this stage, looking at technology trends is like looking through the front windshield, whereas looking at the financial statements is like looking in the rearview mirror. In my humble opinion, technology adoption will eventually bring significant changes to the financial statements starting from the next quarter onwards.

srik : From the technology angle Lumen has the vast fiber network in the global due its acquistions of major telecom players level3 and qwest. Having a great network is one thing and making money out is another .The network as a service is a game changer and that is the right business model when we see AI boom. AI needs lot of processing and network connectivity. With strong people coming in we should be seeing strong business for next few years
