M Stanley: TENCENT Surprises with Black Desert Online Publishing in China

At the SPARK 2024 Games Conference, TENCENT announced it will publish Black Desert Online in China, though no specific timetable was provided.

Morgan Stanley noted that while Pearl Abyss had indicated a launch soon, TENCENT being the publisher was unexpected and seen as a positive.

Despite the positive sentiment, Morgan Stanley is skeptical about the game's success due to the previous failure of its mobile version in China in 2022 and its initial launch in 2014.
