1. The main feature of the MACD indicator is its high robustness, which can provide relatively stable buying and selling signals over a longer period. Therefore, medium and long-term operators can refer to the MACD indicator for specific operations.

2. The biggest disadvantage of the MACD indicator is that the signal is too slow. The MACD indicator on the daily chart level is not suitable for short-term operations. To compensate for this disadvantage, short-term investors can refer to the MACD indicator at the 15-minute or 60-minute level for determination.

3. In medium to long-term uptrends or downtrends, investors using the MACD indicator can be quite effective. However, in situations of substantial price fluctuations or quandaries between bulls and bears, the MACD indicator does not provide investors with much reference value.
