Major non-life insurance companies are in full swing to sell Honda shares on a scale of 500 billion yen = stakeholders

2024/7/2 4:47 PM GMT+9 (some excerpts)
The four major general insurance companies have solidified a policy to sell Honda (7267.T) shares. The four companies expressed a policy to reduce policy holdings to zero in response to the problem that insurance premiums for companies had been adjusted in advance, but the reduction movement began in earnest by relinquishing major stocks.
Three people involved who know about the situation made it clear. Honda will decide on sales soon. Financial institutions other than Tokio Marine & Nichido Fire, Sompo Japan, Mitsui Sumitomo Fire, and Aioi Nissay Dowa are also expected to sell Honda shares, and at the current stock price level, the total sales scale is expected to be around 50 billion yen.
