Here I list out some Malaysia data centre projects related stocks so I can study their charts later.
$NVIDIA(NVDA.US)$ and Malaysian conglomerate $YTLPOWR(6742.MY)$ are developing USD 4.3 billion or RM20 billion in artificial intelligence cloud and supercomputer infrastructure in Johor.
$GAMUDA(5398.MY)$ wins RM1.74 bil job to build $SIMEPROP(5288.MY)$ hyperscale data centre at Elmina Business Park
$GADANG(9261.MY)$ has secured a RM280 million contract to design and develop the Klang Valley Data Centre Block 2 in Cyberjaya from TM Technology Services Sdn Bhd, a business entity of $TM(4863.MY)$
$TENAGA(5347.MY)$ has a great future prospects in anticipation that electricity demand over the immediate term will be fuelled by the expected influx of new data centres in Malaysia.
$PWRWELL(0217.MY)$ has bagged two purchase orders worth a total of RM57.61 million from a “renowned multinational technology corporation” specialising in data centres.
$SUNCON(5263.MY)$ secured a RM747.8 million job to construct a data centre in Selangor. The group said its wholly owned unit Sunway Construction Sdn Bhd entered into a projects of services request with a US-headquartered multinational technology corporation for the job. $SUNCON(5263.MY)$ charted another new all-time high on Tuesday after one of its data centre contracts was upsized to RM3.2 billion from RM1.7 billion.
$PASUKGB(0177.MY)$ has secured a RM56.98 million contract to build a data centre in Selangor from an undisclosed company for the construction and completion of a data centre located in Selangor. Pasukhas described the company as "one of the leading multinational technology corporations headquartered in the US".
AIMS Group, the data centre arm of $TIMECOM(5031.MY)$ , said it would start construction of AIMS Cyberjaya Block 3, with work to be completed by the second quarter of 2025 following completion of AIMS Cyberjaya Block 2. The construction of AIMS Cyberjaya Block 2 involved collaboration with Gamuda Engineering Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of $GAMUDA(5398.MY)$
$MNHLDG(0245.MY)$ partners with China-based Shanghai DC-Science Co Ltd to develop Shanghai DC-Science’s first high-performance DC outside China in Sedenak Tech Park in Johor. The project is estimated to have a value of more than US$600 million (RM2.65 billion).
$CLOUDPT(0277.MY)$ announced that it would be acquiring 75% equity interest each in Unique Central Sdn Bhd (UCSB) and Uniqcen Sales & Services Sdn Bhd (USSSB) for RM26.78 million cash. UCSB is involved in the supply, delivery and installation of DCs, data cabling, fibre optic works, as well as mechanical and electrical services, while USSSB is an electrical contractor.
$KJTS(0293.MY)$ , which made its debut on Bursa Malaysia in Jan 2024, has said it is in talks with data centre owners and main contractors for the supply of its cooling system. The building support services firm specialises in providing cooling energy, cleaning and facility management services, primarily to the property industry. Cooling systems are a major component of DCs due to heat generated by their hardware.
Under the joint venture with Bridge Data Centres Malaysia V Sdn Bhd (BDC), $MAHSING(8583.MY)$ will reserve a 17.55-acre land to develop the data centre that would consume up to 100 megawatts (MW), according to an exchange filing. The shareholding structure of the JV has yet to be finalised.
$UEMS(5148.MY)$ has partnered with Logos Infrastructure Holdco Pte Ltd to explore the opportunity to develop a data centre campus in Gerbang Nusajaya, Johor. The proposed data centre campus development will be located on a 74-acre (29.95-hectare) site in Gerbang Nusajaya in Johor, with a planned development potential capacity of up to 360MW.
$ECOWLD(8206.MY)$ said it plans to sell a 123.14-acre industrial land in Iskandar Malaysia, Johor to a company providing data centre services, for RM402.3 million or RM75 per sq ft. The group said it had acquired the land — which forms part of the master land measuring 403.78 acres within Eco Business Park VI (EBP VI) — in September 2023 at RM12 per sq ft. The proposed cash sale of the land to Microsoft Payments (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd marks the first transaction for EBP VI. With this deal, EcoWorld has joined other companies that have ridden the recent wave of artificial intelligence, particularly in data centres, which has swept through the capital market in Malaysia.
