National Day
Each year has a different National Day theme. The themes of previous years were “Malaysia: My Glory”, “One Malaysia: Changing Our Country”, and “55th Anniversary of Independence: A Thousand Gold”. These themes will be presented at the National Day celebration and are also the focus of the National Day of the year. Simply put, National Day warns Malaysians that a stable life is hard to come by, and that they should cherish their ancestors who sacrificed for the country's independence. National Day also teaches the new generation the importance of independence.
