These calls performed well in theory, but I was unable to get a fill at maximum profit, which was about 90%. I’ve learned a realted lesson a few times. It’s key to trade options with a great deal of liquidity. (Or pay a fee for more obscure tickers, in order to get a more beneficial fill.) I now largely trade more popular contracts and use LEAPS to speculate in the longer term on less heavily traded equities; treating them as less capital intensive share proxies, to be traded at a significant move upward or exercised.)
