By the end of the day, the 10-year U.S. Treasury yield was around 4.24%, down nearly 8 basis points; the 2-year Treasury yield was around 4.70%, down 5 basis points.

WTI July crude futures rose 0.15%, closing at $78.62 per barrel. Brent August crude futures increased by 0.18%, ending at $82.75 per barrel. COMEX August gold futures fell 1.56%, settling at $2318 per ounce. LME base metals broadly declined, with nickel down over 2%, tin nearly 2%, and copper more than 1%.
