Market Wrap-up

The Dow Jones rose 0.49%, the S&P 500 gained 0.77%, and the Nasdaq increased 0.95%.

By the end of the bond market session, the yield on the US 10-year Treasury was around 4.28%, up about 6 basis points on the day. The 2-year Treasury yield was around 4.77%, up nearly 7 basis points on the day.

WTI July crude oil futures rose about 2.4% to $80.33 per barrel. Brent August crude oil futures gained nearly 2% to $84.25 per barrel. COMEX August gold futures fell 0.86% to $2,923 per ounce. Most London base metals fell, but zinc rebounded nearly 2%.
