Massive $Taiwan Semiconductor(TSM.US)$ puts came in prior to today & they absolutely crushed that trade. Almost as if they knew what the candidate or candidates would be saying about semis and Taiwan.

If I'm that trader I'm booking massive gains ahead of $TSM ER. So was the trade thesis based on earnings knowledge or political knowledge?

We'll find out soon enough but at the moment it smells like the latter. Here's to hopium 🥂.
