May didn't seem like it was going to be a big market
The last 2 days of the May exchange rate were extremely volatile 😵💫 Most of the US stocks last night suddenly declined even though PCE was as expected, so positions were cut quite a bit as I posted in real time. $NVIDIA (NVDA.US)$ is cut in half, $Vistra Energy (VST.US)$ All stocks that have fallen so much have withdrawn. However, when I woke up in the morning, the entire index had recovered quite a bit, and I wasn't sure about the market. I wonder if it's a rebalance at the end of the month 😵💫 I'd like to buy it back if it comes back next week, but it's scary if the fluctuation continues, so I plan to gradually revive it while watching.
Currently, Japanese stocks and US stocks combined are about half of the funds. Japanese stocks have not declined in particular, so US stocks have decreased quite a bit. As you can see by looking at the image, we have finally reached the number of stocks that fit on page 2 😂
Summarizing the May market, it fell in April, and bottoming out was visible from around Golden Week, so positions increased all at once compared to April when driving quite slowly. May was characterized by electricity, energy, aerospace, finance, commodities, supermarkets, etc. I also bought brands I had never heard of before.
The fact that I was able to make a particular profit in May
・ $Alps Logistics (9055.JP)$ I ordered TOB (I want to sell it quickly, but when will I buy it)
・ $Abercrombie & Fitch (ANF.US)$ Financial carryover was a huge success
・ $Isetan Mitsukoshi Holdings (3099.JP)$ I was able to buy it for the first time
I think it's obvious.
As a result, May's results...+1%That was it. Hmm few! 😂 If you don't have Alps Logistics or the like, it's negative. It was -1% in April, so I was able to get that back... but even that is rare. While there was a big win, it felt like losses had piled up quite a bit due to interest rate cuts, observation setbacks, etc. 😢
I'm aware that I'm bad at it, but I want the market price like February, where even I was able to win, to come back 😤
I have an investment style where I just get on it when a good market price comes, so I think June will bet when a good wave comes, and drive slowly if no waves come 🌊
