May employment statistics are expected to be revised downward

While the number of workers in the non-farm sector increased more than market expectations according to the US employment statistics for May, the unemployment rate deteriorated slightly from 3.9% in April to 4%.

The Labor Department said in a press release that these two figures are from separate monthly surveys.

The unemployment rate for the same month of the previous year was 3.7%, and it is said that the number of unemployed people increased from 6.1 million in the same month of the previous year to 6.6 million.

Paul Ashworth of Capital Economics stated that the deterioration in the unemployment rate reflected the fact that the number of employed people declined drastically by 408,000, and that the decline exceeded the 250,000 decrease in the labor force population, and expressed the view that the number of employed people would be revised downward.
I thought it was kind of a giggly number.
If the unemployment rate is 4% and employment is reduced by 400,000 people, interest rate reduction mode
