Dear client, On July 29th, Maybank Retail Money Market-I Fund experienced negative returns, but your holdings did not actually suffer losses. The main reason is that: - The NAV of the fund was 1.0139 on July 25th and 1.0112 on July 26th, a decrease of 0.0027; but it started monthly dividend distribution on July 26th, with a dividend of 0.0028 per unit. - Therefore, all holdings did not actually suffer losses. When dividends are paid monthly, the dividend amount will be deducted from the unit net value, resulting in a decline in the unit net value of the fund on the ex-dividend date of July 26th. Therefore, [Daily Chg] were displayed as negative. At the same time, the expected dividend amount will be displayed in [Assets in Transit]; on July 31st, the actual dividend amount will be paid in cash to your Universal Account. - You can click on the icon next to [Assets in Transit] to view the details, or compare [Daily Chg] with [Assets in Transit] to see that the actual cumulative returns are positive.
