MEITUAN Reportedly Plans to Issue US$1B+ Bonds; Firm Has No Comment

$MEITUAN-W (03690.HK)$ is considering issuing over US$1 billion in bonds to replenish working capital, repay debts due 2025 and expand its existing business, Bloomberg quoted sources as saying.

Meituan is in discussions with investment banks about the issuance of bond, according to the report. While tech giants such as $BABA-W (09988.HK)$ and $JD-SW (09618.HK)$ have recently opted to issue convertible bonds, Meituan is leaning towards issuing regular bonds.
