META and Microsoft approach “all-time highs,” TSMC falls — December sales fell 8.4% from the same month last year
US stocks were up on January 10th. As of 5:30 on the 11th Japan time, the NY Dow has risen 0.4% and the NASDAQ index has risen 0.7%.
Huge IT stocks are rising. Microsoft rose by about 2%, and reached a high of 384.30 dollars set on November 29, to a position of about 10 cents left. META rose by about 3.5% and hit a 52-week high. META's stock price is approaching an all-time high of 384.33 dollars in September '21.
NVDA has also risen by about 2%, and high prices are being updated every day. However, stocks that decline against other semiconductor-related stocks, such as AMD, Intel, TSMC, and ARM, are also conspicuous.

TSMC announced monthly sales for December on the 10th. It was 176.3 billion Taiwan dollars, down 8.4% from the same month last year. They are shown in chronological order below.

November 206 billion Taiwan dollars (-7.5%)
December 176.3 billion Taiwan dollars (-8.4%)
The level peaked in October and devalued to November and December. The company planned sales for the October-December period in the range of 600 billion to 627 billion dollars. As a result, it seems to have reached around 625.5 billion Taiwan dollars. It settled close to the upper limit of the range. In response to the October results, expectations for an increase were also raised, so it is thought that sales slightly disappointed expectations.
