Micron was the first company to develop a PCIe 6.0 SSD for data centers [Tweakers, Netherlands]

$Micron Technology (MU.US)$ The company claims that the drive in question achieves speeds of up to 26GB/s. The memory maker shares few details about the SSD. Micron confirms development of its PCIe 6.0 drive. The manufacturer does not mention arbitrary read and write speeds. Micron says it will share more details about the SSD during the Flash Memory Summit 2024, which takes place this week.
The PCIe 6.0 drive will mainly be aimed at enterprise purposes when released. For example, Micron mentions "training AI models", which requires "large data sets". Micron currently offers its 9550 SSD, which is available in capacities up to 30TB and achieves sequential read speeds of up to 14GB/s. Micron isn't sharing details about the availability of its PCIe 6.0 drive.
The PCIe 6.0 standard. The interconnect standard DOUBLES SPEEDS compared to PCIe 5.0. On an interface with four lanes, as is common with SSDs, the theoretical speed of PCIe 6.0 is a maximum of 32GB/s.
Conclusion... the competition is not over to get the best memory-intensive chips. By the way, they have a sophisticated machine from $ASML Holding (ASML.US)$ !
