$Microsoft(MSFT.US$ is consolidating its retail channels in mainland China, the firm said in response to media reports that it is closing its network of authorized physical retailers in the world's second-largest economy.
In June 2020, Microsoft had 460 authorized retail and experience stores in Mainland China. Currently, only 51 of them remain.
