How many potential customers in Middle East ? And how many in Europe ? The stupid idea of expensive NIO houses in Europe, before any solid foundation in China, and the decision, NOT to build 3rd factory in Europe, to avoid foreseeable tariffs, but in China, only helps NIO on its highway to hell.

Middle East should also leverage NiO's charity scheme, where it uses investors' money to build infrastructure and then never earn anything from it. NiO is already doing a lot of charity in Europe such as Swap Station, NiO houses, 1100 employees.

How many potential customers ? (Ignoring the strong competition.) Mediocre production quality at NIO does not help for wealthy clients, used to Mercedes, Audi of BMW quality.

Earn profit from business and reinvest for growth. 10 year old company, already 6 years from IPO and still burning money and raising cash every year. CEO dont even dare to say when will NiO breakeven. NiO cars in loss, power swaps in loss, ONVO will also be lose making, not a single segment in buisness is making money.

EU battery swap station expansion is also probably hindered by getting the necessary approvals from govt. UAE may be a different ball game..the govt might be the one chasing Nio to setup more swap stations soonest possible.
102332870 : there is no right or wrong move. As UAE fund is the largest shareholder of Nio, naturally Nio will enter the Middle East through them.
