$Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (7011.JP)$ Mr. Nobuyuki Sugimoto, Chief Engineer of the Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Aerospace & Rocket Systems Division, Mr. Noriyuki Nakamura, Deputy Division Director of the IHI Aerospace, Space & Defense Division, and Mr. Takuya Hirao, Director of the Mitsubishi Electric Next Generation Fighter Program Development Center, along with moderator Mr. Tomohiro Kawada, Project Management Supervisor of the Defense Equipment Agency (responsible for the next generation fighter), participated. The responsibilities of GCAP are integrated by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries for the airframe, IHI for the engine, and Mitsubishi Electric for avionics equipment. The key three individuals from major companies participating in the Next Generation Fighter Program (GCAP) appeared as panelists. Among them, from the Japanese side, they indicated that Japan has been able to acquire a balance of advanced technology in GCAP development, showcasing technology with high capabilities obtained through Japan's unique material technology and system integration.
