$Molina Healthcare (MOH.US)$ rose more than 10% after hours Wednesday after the managed-healthcare provider beat analyst estimates for its Q3 earnings and revenues.
MOH gained 10.9% to $305 shortly before 4:45 p.m. ET after the company said it earned $6.01 per share on a non-GAAP basis, beating reportedly analysts' consensus estimate by $0.07.
The company also recorded $10.3 billion of revenues – some $430 above what analysts had reportedly expected.
Management also guided adjusted earnings per share for the fiscal year as a whole to at least $23.50 – roughly tying the $23.51 that analysts' consensus estimates have been calling for.
Molina's after-hours bounce stood in sharp contrast to the stock's performance during Wednesday's regular session, when shares fell as much as 4% to a $272.69 intraday low, the stock's worst showing since June 2023.
