Monero Currency

So I have decided to start mining this new crypto. Currently some asking prices range from 100-120 per coin. Does anyone know anything really on it?Have you mined? What are you using to mine? I did the math and using 2 cpus, and add in a littl extra cose to make it faster. I should average 43 a month. But i know some markets dont take it, and in a sense it is still decentralized in some areas.
