Moo Moo caught me?! 😂
Finally our paper competition ended! Stay up all the way till 4am the past few sessions was intense, exciting and definitely tiring 😂
Started the last day of competition being caught by $Futu Holdings Ltd (FUTU.US)$ shooting up to $127 and dropping to as low as $107. Along with $Tesla (TSLA.US)$ which i sincerely think that with decent delivery report, the zoom downwards of -7% was unthinkable. Finally got out both positions. That caught my P&L a good negative $5k
Convicted that $S&P 500 Index (.SPX.US)$ would fall below 5700 (which it did- tested new low of 5675) & $NASDAQ 100 Index (.NDX.US)$ at 12610, I went in hard for $ProShares UltraPro Short S&P500 ETF (SPXU.US)$ $ProShares UltraPro Short QQQ ETF (SQQQ.US)$ $Direxion Daily S&P 500 Bear 3X Shares ETF (SPXS.US)$ $ProShares Ultra VIX Short-Term Futures ETF (UVXY.US)$ Did I regret this move?
Authentically no, as Oct is super volatile and have yet to clear the coast. Just that our competition timeline is till today, i got caught big time (bull trap? IDK 😂) End of day, felt like being 咏春IP MAN by the market 10 times 😂
$NASDAQ Golden Dragon China (.HXC.US)$ $iShares MSCI China ETF (MCHI.US)$ $Direxion Daily FTSE China Bull 3X Shares ETF (YINN.US)$ $Hang Seng Index (800000.HK)$ seems to be taking a breather last night which was perfectly understandable. Is the trend still intact? Yes, i think so. Just collection of profit taking briefly, after golden week holiday, i believe the 🐉 will still be soaring!
📝: Personal realisation is that when $S&P 500 Index (.SPX.US)$ $NASDAQ 100 Index (.NDX.US)$ falls, money seems to be flowing in to $Direxion Daily FTSE China Bull 3X Shares ETF (YINN.US)$ $NASDAQ Golden Dragon China (.HXC.US)$ and vice versa. Till now, i still don’t know whether there’s correlation between both, seems some how so.
As I end the competition, so key takeways i have: 1) Clear entry and exit point. 2)Time in market clearly beats timing the market 3)Don’t chase winning/losses, have clear profit and losses that you’re willing to undertake. 4)Learn to rotate portfolio wisely. 5) Have fun in the journey and reflect daily.

sharing of Moohack: Volume! This allows us to see whether there’s more strength in buying vs selling. Eg: $NASDAQ Golden Dragon China (.HXC.US)$ green bar is strong and steady for past week, till red bar appears. Also, there’s noticeably longer bar than usual, suggesting money flowing in.
🔮 $S&P 500 Index (.SPX.US)$ closed above 5700 which is safe for now. It tested a new region 5673 last night before trying to break out of 5720, which after many attempts, failed to. Depending on data coming in tomorrow, which is crucial, it will take $SPDR S&P 500 ETF (SPY.US)$ to new region.
Given the outlook, though two more cuts incoming, $S&P 500 Index (.SPX.US)$ may retrace back downwards to test 5673 again and further downwards region would find support ground at 5600-18. If data is super optimistic, it will have to break 5720 and find top near 5750-55. $NASDAQ 100 Index (.NDX.US)$ my favourite index, has yet to clear 20,000 psychological point and is currently sitting at middle bollinger band, suggesting undecided level (data dependent). Downwards, it will break 19611 first before finding support at 19293-19333 region. Upwards, 20,000-20300 is where current top region is.
🇨🇳 $NASDAQ Golden Dragon China (.HXC.US)$ $Hang Seng Index (800000.HK)$ would continue it’s bullish run, despite some mini consolidation. No clear target yet, so wise not to fight the bull. $Direxion Daily FTSE China Bull 3X Shares ETF (YINN.US)$ hot play now. Any level around 38-40 region I will add more position. It will clear 50 easily.
Though this competition ended, our journey in constantly staying invested will not end. Wishing all to trade safe and make enough to cover the high cost of inflation.
🐻 Will still be sharing my plays and outlook every now and then! Stay tune!
