$Advanced Micro Devices (AMD.US)$are rallying following the company's second quarter earnings report, which beat expectations on both revenue and profit margins primarily due to strong AI chip sales.

Chip stocks were rallying across the board on Wednesday, driven by a big earnings beat from AMD and Morgan Stanley naming Nvidia a top stock pick.

$Advanced Micro Devices (AMD.US)$ spiked as much as 11% before paring gains to about 5% higher. $NVIDIA (NVDA.US)$ surged 12% at intraday highs. Other stocks getting a lift included $ASML Holding (ASML.US)$ (up 11%), $Qualcomm (QCOM.US)$ (up 6%), and $Samsung NYSE FANG+ ETF (02814.HK)$ (up 4%).

AMD will hopefully slowly over the next few months grow back to a 160-170, the recent dip and surge after earnings does make the stock seem quite violent, but give it a week and things may calm a little. Definitely would buy though.

Don't make the wrong decision. It's already highly oversold. Take some profit off but don't leave the table.

AMD in the longer term is going to lose more market share, simply because ARM is going to replace alot of their CPU chips.. they are the budget GPU, and if its only that then ARM can replace it, give ARM some years to get there.

All in all, market is still volatile after all as there is still FOMC meeting going on during this midnight and $Meta Platforms (META.US)$/ $Amazon (AMZN.US)$/ $Apple (AAPL.US)$ Earning will be released by this week too but to be honest, so far all the M7 Earning is not really having any disaster problem. So far all is just fantastic. I believe after this week, there might be some huge tech rebound next week if Apple/Amazon/Meta Earning is as good as Microsoft‼️

I rather keep on buying NVDA and I don’t mind to extend my time horizon in my NVDA position. Of course, anything can happen in between which may cause a sharp drop in NVDA stock price but guess what…we can never guess the bottom, so I would keep on buying rather than shorting.
