I started my investment journey in 2019 with bonds, gradually stepping into the stock market in 2021. That’s also when I began trading. Initially, my goal was simple—build and grow wealth while staying ahead of inflation.

As I delved deeper into the world of investing and trading, I became fascinated by the complexities and opportunities it offered. That curiosity sparked my passion for learning and sharing. To connect with like-minded individuals, I launched my own YouTube channel, where I share valuable insights and lessons I’ve learned along the way.

I learn towards a cautious and disciplined approach, particularly in options trading. My preferred strategy is the widely recognized Options Wheel strategy. While options trading does involve risks, I firmly believe that proper risk management can transform trading into a reliable and consistent income source.

Beyond managing risks, gaining deep knowledge of the assets or derivatives you trade is absolutely critical. Too often, I see traders rushing into investments they don’t fully understand. My philosophy?
Take the time to learn before you leap. Trading rewards preparation, not impatience💡

My experience with Moomoo has been fantastic! I love the platform’s intuitive UI/UX, the vibrant community, the engaging in-app contests and games, and even the offline events. That said, there’s always room for improvement. For example, at the recent MooFest 2024 in Singapore, queue management could have been handled better. I think many Mooers would agree with me on this.

My go-to strategy is the Options Wheel. I always avoid selling naked options and ensure I have sufficient cash or collaterals ready for assignments. This disciplined approach keeps my risks in check.

Additionally, I’ve learned the importance of controlling emotions—especially greed. Trading success often lies in sticking to what works instead of constantly chasing new methods or trends. Consistency is key.

One of the biggest challenges of trading in the US market is the time difference. Staying up late to monitor the market can be draining, and unexpected changes can sometimes occur while I’m asleep.

However, as with any challenge, adaptation is the key. With proper planning, these obstacles can be managed effectively.

Investing is a journey, not a sprint. Whether you’re just starting or already deep into the markets, take the time to learn, stay disciplined, and connect with others who share your passion.
