Moofest 2024 A Personal Experience

Special thanks to Mr. Isaac Lim and Mr. In Cher Boh from Nasdaq for their enlightening sessions. The Total View feature is a game-changer!

Moofest 2024, hosted by Moomoo, brought together a vibrant community of investors, traders, financial experts, and enthusiasts. The event featured talks from industry leaders, influencers, and opportunities to network with fellow investors.

Highlights included workshops/classes, engaging panel discussions on market trends, investment strategies etc.

For anyone keen on advancing their financial knowledge and connecting with like-minded individuals, Moofest 2024 was an event not to be missed as it's bigger than last year. I believe the queue system can be improved as the attendees were more as compared to last year. moomoo.com/comm...
My primary purpose for this year was to learn and attend classes. I wasn't particularly interested in the freebies, as I had no time for them. The event started with registration from 9 am to 9.30 am. I arrived at 9 am, but the queue was incredibly long, winding like a snake or intestines. You can refer to the time stamps on my photos taken while I was in the queue for evidence.

Took me 1 hour + to enter. This detail is important for addressing the "cutting queue" issue I encountered later. I missed Mr. Too's options class, which had already started by the time I realized it was at the side stage. Since I couldn't join his class as it has begun halfway, I decided to visit the booths and collect some freebies instead.
To the Moomoo staff who accused me of cutting the queue twice at the redemption booth, please check the time stamps on my photos above. They show when I checked in and when I entered Moofest 2024. It's unfair to say I cut the Q when so many others were doing the same. Do you really think I need to cut the Q to get freebies? I was there to study, not for the freebies. If I want to cut Q, I would have done so during the registration.

The girl playing phone accused me of cutting Q. Really too much.😠

At the redemption booth, I asked one of the staff members about collecting the Stress Ball Moomoo for my museum collection. He asked me to share it on my Instagram, which I did.

However, when I went to join the queue for the redemption booth, there was no clear line. The staff at the booth were disorganized—one staff member was chatting with customers, another was on her laptop with no one in line. When I tried to show my post, I was told by her to Q up, but where was the queue? There were no clear barricades or instructions.
Then the guy asked me to go collect all the stamps to collect moomoo pillow + stressball + kisslock. No time for them!

So I went other booths first then gave kueh to sis Sue Khee and I tried to join the Q again. I believe more than 30 mins has passed, and the lines were still confusing. Despite many people cutting the line, she seemed to pick on me specifically. I was there to study and support Mr. Isaac Lim, not to act saintly or seek freebies.
I don't act saintly, and you aren't one either. There's no need to be judgemental when many others were cutting the queue at the redemption booth, and you stayed silent.
This year, I stayed at Moofest longer than usual. My main goal was to study and support Mr. Isaac Lim @Trader’s Edge , and I benefited greatly from his talk. Next, I would also like to express my gratitude to @Nasdaq 's Mr. In Cher Boh for his time and patience. I attended his Close door event last month here: activating Nasdaq TotalView Experience while wrapping dumplings in the morning, and I found the Total View feature extremely useful. Really appreciate @Moomoo Event for the invite I just went to recap again in case I forgotten anything. I hope it can be extended for free, specially for me, until December.

In conclusion, the classes at Moofest were more useful to me than the panel discussions. I benefited from the Side Stage as compared to the Main Stage, and classes were overrun too.
Everyone has their own opinion, and while we can listen to experts, it's crucial to make our own decisions in the end.
