moomoo Securities is good, isn't it?

Nice to meet you, everyone. I'm Sasadanko.
I was impressed by the real-time large volume trading chart of moomoo.
I thought I would make a big profit with this! However, sometimes the stock price goes down even though it's being bought more and more, or it doesn't go down even though it's being sold. It's confusing.
It may be synchronized with a time lag due to timing issues.
Is this trading data only for new transactions? Does buying back short sales count as buying? There are many things I don't know, but it's nice that Radio Nikkei broadcasts can be seen with video. I apologize for the long post as it is my first time posting. 🙏
Thank you all in advance. 🤗

  • 大負けネコ : Good morning 🌞
Congratulations on your moomoo securities debut 🎉

By the way, you're not a "beginner in trading U.S. stocks", are you? I myself have been a "beginner in trading U.S. stocks" since November of last year. It's been almost a year, but I'm still being tossed around by "buying and selling" that I still don't understand.

moomoo securities' "quote" and "large order trading trend chart" are indeed quite helpful as "reference information during stock trading," but it is important to recognize that they are only "reference information during stock trading." Even if the "quote information before the start of trading is predominantly buy orders" and "large investors predominantly placing buy orders," and even if it "rises" in after-hours trading, the stock market is like a living creature. It is always "moving," and if there is a "large-scale sell order" by large investors, it can quickly change to being "dominated by sell orders."

From my perspective as someone mainly focused on Japanese stocks, I understand that it is an "incredibly volatile❗️" market with large fluctuations in the "increase" and "decrease" even within a day's trading emotions, like a "roller coaster market."

Furthermore, even when it comes to the "estimated information from investment analysts" introduced by moomoo securities, it is only to be "objectively referenced" as there are also numerous "biased opinions" trying to induce a decline or an increase in stock prices.

I execute orders for U.S. stocks mainly through "domestic online securities," but when I place an order with moomoo securities, my "order is reflected on the quote information quite quickly," so there is definitely "less time lag between order placement and order status reflected at the securities exchange" compared to "domestic online securities."

When placing orders for U.S. stocks using the same "smartphone app" as moomoo securities, I assume that it follows the order of "smartphone app to online securities system to the U.S. stock market," and there is usually a time lag of around 1-2 hours until "order placement from the app is reflected in the order status at the securities exchange."
The quote information is easier to understand in real time with moomoo securities, so I look at it, but my order is often not reflected and I often fail to make purchases even near the "limit order price near the lowest price" where the "lowest order price" is visible on moomoo securities.

The trading data includes "short sale data" displayed at the "bottom of each stock chart," so I understand that it includes "short sales." Well, the fact that "such useful data can be seen even for free members" is excellent, I think. This is a personal opinion as an "individual investor focused on Japanese stocks (with U.S. stocks accounting for about 10%)."

I probably predict that tonight's "trading leading up to NVIDIA's earnings announcement" will also be "volatile." In the case of the past two earnings announcements for Q1 and Q2, there were about the same number of "bullish investors" as "bearish investors," and there are many "institutional investors, large investors, and individual investors" who hold a large number of NVIDIA shares and are betting on their respective "estimates."

Therefore, it is crucial to make buying and selling decisions by "comparing them with your own criteria and objectively." Even I am currently "in the positives" with U.S. stocks, but in the beginning, I couldn't understand why I was immediately "heavily sold off" just because my "market expectations fell short" in the quarterly earnings report. That's how powerful the "pre-formed market expectations" are in the "U.S. stock market."

I apologize for the long text. I wish you the best in your consideration.
    Good Luck❗

  • 笹だん子 OP : After my first post, I was feeling devastated due to poor trading performance (exaggerated, lol). Sorry for the delayed response. I'm not quite familiar with how to use the moomoo securities app. Please everyone, give me some guidance. ❤️

  • 笹だん子 OP 大負けネコ : Nice to meet you, Mr. Big Loser Cat 🐱 Thank you for the many messages‼️ I mainly focus on Japanese stocks and have not yet had any experience with US stocks. I am also interested in US stocks, but I still don't understand them well, so I need to study first 😅 The detailed explanations of how to use the app were very informative ❣️ It's always helpful to hear about actual experiences. I apologize for the late response. See you later~👋

It says so, but it is not available on both PC and mobile app.
I'm looking at Japanese stocks, so why is it not available?
