Moove Series Workshop is back!
This time, it teaches us about Warrants. Actually, I didn’t plan to go, but since I was in SG making Teochew mooncakes for one of my moomoo friend's friend yesterday, I thought, why not?

Arrived around 1830, and the first thing that happened was running into the girl who alleged Ms @Nasdaq TotalView Officer “cut Q” during moofest.

The first half of the year saw tech stocks rising, and now with news of Temasek planning to invest $30 billion in the U.S. over the next five years, it’s a good time to think about positioning our portfolios more strategically?

The workshop itself was informative, but not very informative. I had no idea what warrants were, but after going through the slides, I understood a bit more. Not sure why the Filipino guy looked so strict though… During moofest, he was very happy and welcoming but after put on his suit, he has turned to another person. I was hoping the workshop could give us more examples on how to trade warrants.

How can we better analyze the chart without using terms like "Call," "Put," or phrases like "place a bet", which make it sound like gambling? Or it's gambling? Maybe the advanced class will cover this in more detail? I think a demo or paper trading session, or what Mr. Isaac Lim does every Tuesday when analyzing charts, would be helpful. Is it necessary to refer to the chart directly, or can we trade warrants without looking at the chart? It's a bit confusing to understand how to approach it properly.

I was told by one of the moomoo staff that this is actually moomoo's new office, which they moved into just two weeks ago. So congratulations, @Moomoo SG ! Hope CEO Gavin Chia threw 🍍. The office looks good but do you know, there is one dark side of the office.....

You know how it is, right? People drink, and then leave their cups for the cleaners the next day. Makes me curious, how is this in MNCs in other countries?

There was also a booth where you could deposit some money and get a free toy. I loved the vacuum-packed moomoo pillow (way easier to store now than when it wasn’t vacuumed). It was a long day, ending around 9pm.

I hope moomoo can introduce a setting for the 6.8% promotion, similar to the "lock-in" system used by banks. In those systems, you lock in a fixed amount for a specific period, and if you withdraw early, the promotion is forfeited. Without a lock-in feature, there's a risk of unintentionally using the funds to buy stocks, which is why I’ve avoided subscribing to the 6.8% promotion. I need the flexibility to adjust my portfolio without the concern of losing the promotional rate.
Anyway, big thanks to all @Team moomoo staff, @Macquarie Warrants Singapore and Binni ong for staying back for us—I enjoyed the talks and the buffet. Just wondering anyone tried the fruit punch.. The food was really nice except the fruit punch taste a bit like cough syrup
