Most Alibaba Cloud Services in Singapore Back Online After Fire Incident
Chinese media report that most cloud services affected by the fire at Alibaba Cloud's Singapore server room have resumed. However, some operations remain offline due to a power outage, pending physical restoration of the server room.
Local fire authorities are still managing risks on-site, and Alibaba Cloud's engineers are awaiting access. If in-situ recovery is not feasible, a plan for relocating server equipment will be implemented.
Alibaba Cloud announced "Singapore Availability Zone C Network Access Abnormalities," attributing service disruptions to the fire, which led to a temperature rise in the server room.
